ABOUT
This project deals with the preservation of food that has already been thrown away. Over the course of 4 months, more than 2000 preserving jars with 400 different types of preserved food were produced. During the exhibition, we were present in the preserving room and engaged the visitors in a conversation – the conversation always started with the question: Do you want a jar? You can have it for free, throw us a sum of money in the obulus in the middle of the room or give us some other form of exchange. The glass was provided with a business card that included the glass number and the artist's signature. All the jars were sealed with a copper wire, leaving it up to the visitors to decide whether or not they wanted to treat the jar as a work of art and break the seal, turning it into a consum product.
