Bio/Art-Reactor 

Bio/Art Reactors are hybrids between an object of art and an object of utility. Inside, an anaerobic fermentation process can be initiated to preserve food. The heavy lid helps to keep the food under the liquid.
The surface has been hand-finished with
the intention of making the invisible process of fermentation visible. The lid can be combined with the reactor in different 
ways in order to create different sculptural aspects. A field of contrasts opens up between inside and outside, black and white, art and design, above and underneath, object and sculpture.
